We are enjoying a beautiful sunshiny day … glistening off that beautiful white stuff. I’m sure you are missing that (he he) We will be missing you BIG TIME tomorrow in KidZone, but are thankful for the example you are setting for the kids. “Go, go, go, go, go, go, go…. and make disciples.”
Love, Donna
We missed you in KZ. How great that you got to have that hour in the sun. We had beautiful weather for MI and it cheered us up a bit too. Hope you are having a great day serving …
Love, Donna
Hey Patty! You know that you are the veteran of the team…how many is it now…6 or 7? As far as no snow when you get back, it go into the FORTIES today…woohooo! God bless and have fun.
We were just talking about that on the way down here. I believe it´s year number 5 but I´d have to check my scrapbook to make sure. It’s been great to be on all of these trips and I wouldn´t trade them for the world. There hasn´t been a day yet when I haven´t been asked, especially by Ramon, if I´m coming down here to teach. His fiirst words to me, other than hello, when we got here were “August 20th, you here.” Hey, no pressure there!
Talk to everyone soon!
Hmmmmmmm Patty/Mexico – Patty/Michigan – Mexico/Patty – Michigan/Patty ….. you’ll have to ask if you can opt out of your Kid Zone contract first, but I think the Patty/Mexico – Mexico/Patty thing has a nice ring to it!
Steve
Yes, it’s definitely becoming a harder decision to make and more to think about. The kids are absolutely adorable and have so much love in their hearts. Hugo Vasquez was down today and asked if I was finally coming down to teach so I haven’t really gone a day yet without someone inquiring about it. Wonder if Donna would let me out of my KidZone contract?!!!!
Hey Patty – remember I just said you had to stay as long as I do in KidZone. And who knows how long I’ll stay after visiting my granddaughter this week ????
I will definitely pray with you to know God’s will. It could be very exciting to teach there – but only if that’s where GOD wants you!!
I have a feeling that you would definitely be more quickly decisive to stay in California than I would be to moving down here but it is something that I will defintely look for guidance and prayer with. I appreciate your offer and will take you up on it! Have a great time with that precious little girl and I will see you soon!
I just re-read my post and realized I called you “Donna!” Oops! I was looking up at Donna’s post and my brain must have only been half-working! I meant “Patty!” Have fun!
Oh Patty – I am LOVING being here with my grandbaby. Its only been a few hours and I’m so in love with her. It would be nice to stay here , but its not God’s plan yet. So we’ll just keep praying together for whatever and wherever God wants us. For now its great that we get to serve together. Enjoy your last few hours in Mexico and see you back in chilly MI.
I didn’t realize you were already out there…for some reason I was thinking you were leaving on Saturday. Hope your weather is nice….we were a little chilly here today….I think it only got in the upper 60’s but it felt cold after the 80’s and 90’s! I’m with you on the praying together….I need all the help I can get since it was very hard to say good bye tonight and will be again tomorrow I’m sure. See you on the 16th if not before and have fun!
Karin,
That’s ok, I knew what you meant! It’s been great here and I don’t want to go home. I have some definite decisions to make in the following months but I know it will be much easier now that I have some of my freedom back.
Mark said “HEY. She can’t go to Mexico … we need her at work.” But then he admitted that if GOD wants you there, you better go. We will be praying for you to know ….
