Just like to say to Art and Joanne thanks for making this a great trip. Everything was so well organized. Also to Ron and Jane for having thing ready here at Templo Belen, so we could start working the first day. And to the rest of the team it was great to get to know you all better and it was an honor to serve with you. Also thanks to the people back home for all your prayers.

Hi Mom,
I bet you are in your glory with all those books and children! I love the pictures of you with kids on your lap, reading a story. Katie saw those pictures and said, "They love hearing grandma read just like me!" I am so glad that you have been able to go on this adventure. You have been such a blessing to the others on your team and to the people you have met. I can't wait to hear more stories and see more pictures!
WE will pray for safe travels and smooth border crossing!
Love you,
Kris

Donna,

I didn't realize you were already out there...for some reason I was thinking you were leaving on Saturday. Hope your weather is nice....we were a little chilly here today....I think it only got in the upper 60's but it felt cold after the 80's and 90's! I'm with you on the praying together....I need all the help I can get since it was very hard to say good bye tonight and will be again tomorrow I'm sure. See you on the 16th if not before and have fun!

Karin,

That's ok, I knew what you meant! It's been great here and I don't want to go home. I have some definite decisions to make in the following months but I know it will be much easier now that I have some of my freedom back.

See you both soon!

Barb, I have been checking the slideshow every day and it looks like you guys have been really busy and having some wonderful new expieriences and building great new relationships. Yes, the people really get to you there, with their humble, joyful faith even in the midst of their poverty. We will continue to pray for health and energy for the remainder of your stay and for a good return journey. Regards, John.

Oh Patty - I am LOVING being here with my grandbaby. Its only been a few hours and I'm so in love with her. It would be nice to stay here , but its not God's plan yet. So we'll just keep praying together for whatever and wherever God wants us. For now its great that we get to serve together. Enjoy your last few hours in Mexico and see you back in chilly MI.

We are excited to have the books sorted and today we began putting them on the shelves Art built. The room is beginning to look like a library. The walls are painted one of the favorite colors down here--sort of orange. Oh yes, the floor is, too. We found a rug in storage that is now on the floor and a few ladies brought a painting back from a short excursion to a coffee shop. It has bright yellow sunflowers and other bold colors. It fits the places where a window had been filled in. Check out the pictures. It should be there. There is one day left to work here. The library should be filled and arranged by then, and the building project should be at a point where the heavy work is done, leaving electrical, plumbing, and roof.

Thanks for the update, Tim. Jen, I hope you get the job that you really would like. Grace, I love you, and I'll see you soon. You can come to our house next week.
