We will be serving in Miguel Aleman, Mexico which is located just across the border from Roma, Texas.   We will be tutoring children at the Eagle College elementary school and doing various construction and clean-up projects for the school and for Templo Belen Church.

Even though members of the team will be traveling on 2 different flight schedules, we should all be at the McAllen, TX airport by 5:10PM on Friday the 29th.  Ron and Jane Brouwer will be there to greet us.  Using Ron and Jane’s vehicle and a rented van, we will travel across the border into Miguel Aleman.  Please pray for safe travel and an uneventful experience in crossing the border.  That evening we will move into our accommodations at the motel and rest in preparation for a new experience of God’s grace in Miguel Aleman.

Saturday, February 16 – Ron and Jane Brouwer arrived in Migel Aleman, after the long drive from Michigan.  Ron and Jane will be making a lot of the preparations for the team work projects.  There leadership and commitment to Miguel Aleman are much appreciated.

Monday, February 25 – Final team meeting before leaving for Mexico

Friday, February 29 – Justin and Vic  Machiela fly from Grand Rapids and the other eleven will drive to Detroit and fly to McAllen, TX.  Ron and Jane will meet us when we all arrive at McAllen at 5:10 pm.  We then drive a rented van to Miguel Aleman and begin our mission.

Saturday morning we will begin our ministry by hosting a  breakfast and “Bible School” for the neighborhood children.
